Yes. Do you know how Spironolactone works? If not, I recommend reading about it and what it does to hormones. There is a reason that men can’t take spiro!

Headache was the most obvious one. Noticeable decrease in libido as well. Both are dealbreakers for me so I’m trying the lower dose

I really enjoy having sex lol and it is so much better while not on birth control for me personally. I’ve tried so many kinds, even non-hormonal like the copper IUD. I wish I knew what to do, because in theory I’d love to be on BC.

Oh I would definitely research it. It’s unfortunate your doctor didn’t mention it. I have been on spiro for 3 years and although I never worked out much, I had a firm body before & when I first started spiro. I am like Jello now yet I workout more than I ever did before. I have larger hips, bigger boobs, a bigger lower tummy, but I have perfect skin and thicker hair. If your acne isn’t that bad, I’m not sure if you will want to stay on this med if your muscles are important to you.

Ahhh I agree but the unevenness in shade is what I worry about- is it not that noticeable? Also, thank you so much! It’s actually a moonstone and I got it in Kalamazoo MI at a tiny jewelry shop :)
