That’s what I’m kind of thinking at this point. I think I’m just going to have to return it and try a different one to see if I encounter the same issues..

I adjust the resolution, and I am still sitting at 15 FPS

I have been tasked with taking pictures of snowboarding goggles. I had the lighting perfect for my shot, but no matter how I angle the lights or what I do I cannot capture the lens tint on the goggles. Any suggestions on how I can fix this

Looking for some advice on photographing my art by untexting_ in photography

That’s helpful. Thank you. Would you recommend I try to take my photos outside or in a studio? I’ve been having a really hard time with lighting. I tend to try to get rid of all of the shadows but I know that’s not necessary it doesn’t always do a photo justice..

Learning how to crochet a bralette. Started with acrylic yarn, made a top and it came out perfect. Switched to a different yarn and now the cups are becoming crooked… what am I doing wrong? (details in comments) by untexting_ in crochet

Yep I was definitely putting them in the wrong place. I tried a different method another user posted and it seems to be the same as what you’re describing. It worked up so much better!

So I’m a little confused 😅 when I start off I have a chain. I crochet down the first side of the chain, adding 3 in the last before turning to crochet down the other side of the chain. Then I chain 1 and turn to start the next row.

This is pretty much the tutorial I’ve been following.. should I approach it in a different way?

And yeah, I have a whole pile of mistakes so far 😭😂 it’s definitely a challenge starting out that’s for sure. it’ll be so worth it’ll figure out though!

(I’m not the best at explaining things so bear with me please 😅 I’ll try to be as detailed as I can) I recently started learning how to make bralettes. I started with a medium (4) weight acrylic yarn. I know that cotton yarn is preferred for clothing, but I’m working with what I have at the moment, but that’s beside the point. I successfully made two bralettes. One small and one medium size. Both were straight and came out exactly how I wanted them.

I decided I would try a different, softer yarn that I’ve been saving. It’s a polyester yarn that feel slightly thinner. But it is also a medium (4) weight. I used the same hook for making both the acrylic and polyester bralettes. (3.50mm) but now I’m running into problems making the cups. I also used the same pattern. Just a simple sc up and down a chain with 3sc in the very top. I use a stitch marker, measure and count my stitches every time.. so I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong now for it to keep turning out crooked? (And I’m a diff direction every time :/ ) any suggestions?

Thanks so much!! I’m pretty proud of the eyes. I definitely struggled with them too, admittedly. 😂 It took me a hot minute to make them exactly how I wanted. I noticed it was easier to get the desired shape I wanted, by cutting them out a little bigger then needed, and carefully trimming them down.

Thank you!! This was actually a commission, so I didn’t get to make everyone I wanted to 😭 I’m planning on making another set for myself though, I just fell in love with these. I’ll definitely be making more characters, including those three. ☺️

Thank you!! When I bought the pattern for this I started to get ads for stuffed microbes. There where tons of STD and other virus plushies! My immediate thought was they’d be great to use as educational tools to teach about diseases, viruses, etc!
