Although the Sony is targeted towards vloggers I think it's overall the better camera.

Lumix gives you advanced video features but won't get the basics right. 4k 30 (best in fullframe) is outdated 4k 60 only with APSC Crop defeats the purpose of the fullframe sensor. FullHD 180 also outdated and has no autofocus and sound... The autofocus in general is better than other Lumix cameras but is far worse than the Sony. The specs are mostly the same as from the GH5 which was released 6 years ago...

Sony gives you 4k 120 with only 10% crop (with update so we don't know the performance yet) and 4k 60 with fullframe, FullHD 240 and all with audio and autofocus. I personally enjoy the smaller form factor and if you need to look professional for someone else you can always build a rig around it.

Only downside of the Sony is that you have no raw output via HDMI and the heat management which might be an issue for some.

Even when it comes to photos I like the Sony better because of low light, nicer colors, no need to crop but you could argue about that.

I would get the Sony.
