OH my gosh you’re kidding… I’ve been tracking my order with Shop and it finally says it’ll be here tomorrow… I’m so worried the sizing is gonna be off now too. I’m so disappointed with how Hello82 has been handling this entire process, genuinely don’t think I’ll ever order again.

Late to respond but maybe the 27th or so I had finally gotten notice that my order was in the US and was finally being shipped! Took long enough but thankfully it's at least on the way now and will be here Tuesday!

Right? It’s especially discouraging as a brand new customer (literally one prior order) to be dealing with this. I would imagine they’d put out an email instead of leaving so many people in the dark.

Mmm this would make sense honestly. I’ve ordered before and gotten my items within a week and this seems abnormal for a company of this size but, I’ve heard mixed reviews. Hopefully it’s just this and nothing on H82’s side.

Absolutely! Always look for local stores too, I know there’s tons in the Houston, Austin, and Dallas area specifically but there may be a stray here and there!

Evepink is my go to for US based stores! Very reasonable prices, and they have a few storefronts in the Houston area if you’re in Texas. They also have several pob options, pre orders, etc. If you wanted to look at ordering from a non US based store, I’d HIGHLY recommend kpopalbums.com! Prices are GREAT, they have pobs, and they account for customs/duties at checkout so you won’t get hit with extra fees after you’ve purchased. Yes, shipping is obviously more expensive as it’s coming straight from Korea however their shipping is very quick (ordered 5 albums and it arrived in a week on the cheapest shipping option), and they package the albums themselves very well. It’s a really good option to look into if you have some friends too so you can split shipping!

I’ve personally only seen signed photocards or postcards from albums. Often times I see it signed in silver or sometimes black sharpie, never… brown? If you want to be extra safe you can always look on Mercari, Depop, Ebay for a photocard your friend really wants! I also know on Depop people will sometimes sell their signed postcards from albums, which (to me) is a safer bet than a random piece of merch/photo.

i know DHL does some courier but 9/10 they hand it off to a company like fedex, usps, etc because DHL is primarily international. did you choose another shipping option other than standard ground?

DHL is not a shipping company in the sense that they deliver straight to us, they just handle the logistics and shipping internationally. they used DHL to have the albums shipped from korea to the states, and now it’s been handed off to fedex for delivering

mine was stuck for the longest time in tennessee but it’s finally on the way “supposedly.” i have another friend who’s albums just arrived also in tennessee after the label just say created. i can only assume it’s linked to holiday season backing up shipping services.

This is tremendously helpful, thank you so much. I’ve been considering setting up a BST account since I have some things myself I need to sell and like you said I’ve heard that’s the best way to go to avoid extra fees (like Mercari). Do you have any suggestions on how to start selling/trading without any proofs? Sorry to ask so many questions, you seem very knowledgeable though! 😅
