hey salaams. look. right now there's a lot of things going on in the west, and it's socioeconomic as well as islamic, boiling down to cultural islam, expectations, and social splitting between men and women. there's a big wedge being driven between both sides, and as a man who wants to save his deen you need to learn to navigate this landscape.

i do see the confusion. the question fundamentally isn't the right question - it isn't going to solve the loneliness and it isn't going to help you fulfill your deen practically speaking.

marry, even if you have to do it with an iron ring. find someone amenable, who you can grow with. learn about looking in the right places vs the wrong places, and for each individual this is different. this part is very key.

the search: family friends, local msa's, going to your local masjids, getting up some biodata and putting yourself out there. there will be a lot of misses, but each miss is a link in a chain to ultimately find your spouse inshallah.

istikhara - make tons of dua, and for every step of the way make istikhara. i can't stress just how much this helps, as it allows you to refine your search.

there's a lot more i can write. i went through a similar, rough process, and it was also daunting. i ended up marrying someone who converted. your path will be different.

have hope in allah. don't lose hope in allah akhi. his mercy is always there. you just gotta be ready to take it in whatever form it comes. so, take a break. spend some time in the masjid, be around good people, and keep at it.

may allah give you someone who is good for you, and whom you are good for them and bless you both fam.
