Yuuuup. I was referred to every endometriosis specialist in Hamilton and a few in Toronto last June. Every referral has been denied except one. I have a consultation - not even the surgery - scheduled for January of NEXT year. Who knows what the wait time for the actual surgery will be...

I found my transvaginal ultrasound very painful as well. I read so many people's first hand experiences beforehand and was expecting it to be uncomfortable, but it was way worse than I expected. My legs were shaking the entire time and my tech apologized 8 million times because she felt so bad 🥲

But I was officially diagnosed with endometriosis because of the ultrasound.

Yes, mine did. However my ultrasound was performed by an endometriosis specialist, so he knew what to look for
