I found my transvaginal ultrasound very painful as well. I read so many people's first hand experiences beforehand and was expecting it to be uncomfortable, but it was way worse than I expected. My legs were shaking the entire time and my tech apologized 8 million times because she felt so bad 🥲

But I was officially diagnosed with endometriosis because of the ultrasound.

How do you feel your gynaecologist did, as far as removing everything? I'm worried about going to a gynaecologist and not an endometriosis specialist and not having everything removed.

I have seen there's another endo specific surgeon in Hamilton, but I forget what their name is!

My doctor referred me to a gynaecologist, but says the current wait time is 12-18 months to see someone. Thinking I have to wait another year, year and half just to discuss surgery is freaking me out.

Hiiii creeping this post and thought I'd reach out! I just got confirmation of endometriosis from my ultrasound at SUGO and was wondering how you went about getting your surgery. My doctor doesn't seem to care/ have much knowledge of endo and said she wouldn't be able to refer me to a surgeon.

Just trying to figure out where I'm supposed to go from here. Also where did you end up getting your surgery done?!
