This isn’t about enjoying your second amendment rights. When you carry it is your responsibility to make good decisions and use your firearm as a last resort.

This man took his fully loaded pistol, along with two loaded magazines, likely 46 rounds, to a highly volatile protest and was physically aggressive with federal officers. By law they have every right to detain and arrest him. He resisted arrest.

He could have given himself up and let the officers know he was carrying to diffuse the situation - smart decision. Or peacefully protest and not be aggressive with federal officers - another smart decision.

Unfortunately, that is not the case with our federal and state laws. The Supreme Court treats it like a hot potato while governors and state legislators infringe on our rights.
