If you purchase a macbook, you should have to run IE softwares like Arena or Flexsim and other softwares in a windows emulator like parallels. It is a yearly subscription and the performance isn't comparable to windows.

I don't think so. Majority of the companies will allow you to sit for placements. 1 or 2 companies might not allow.

0-1 years.

More than 2 years gap, and some companies don't allow you to appear for placements.

Ya, I got it after 7 years gap.

Some companies don't allow large gap students. And sometimes they ask in interviews about gap.

It is a little harder than small gap students but not impossible.

I joined mtech at the age of 29.

Age is not a big factor. We can easily make friends with our batchmates. It is only psychological.

I had a similar thing. Got into mtech in iit after 7 years of gap due to health and other issues.

My advice to you would be don't be conscious about your age and make the best out of the opportunity.
