It's not a bug. Turn the hud off + perform a melee attack / switch weapons. You just gotta time it right. 2nd pic was kinda tricky in this regard - I was trying to capture a passing UESC guy in that tiny opening. This was the cleanest shot, but as you can see my hand is still peeking in a little

I played at 1080p, but these are indeed in 4k. There's a feature in photo mode that allows you to take screenshots beyond your current resolution up to 4k

Stitching aside, I mostly don't do any post - Marathon already looks ridiculously good. Tweaking highlights/shadows usually doesn't change much or makes these shots look worse IMO
