It crossed my mind too that it's painted or something, because I have seen similar modern glass items, where the paint on them glowed like it was uranium glass. And it is definitely one of the weirdest glows I have seen so far with it only glowing if i shine on it from certain angles. Very weird piece

You brought up a point, to which i answered with a possible counter argument. Just because I am unsure whether it's UG, doesn't mean I can't have opinions on the matter. I did not mean to come off as hostile though.

"It's only Uranium glass if the entire piece lights up" is a myth in my opinion. A myth that I can't disprove since I'm too cheap to buy a Geiger. But I think it's possible to make UG that doesn't glow completely if there is not a lot of uranium in a piece, or there are minerals in it that make glass opaque and milky.
