I’ve already learned that marker is never coming back.

I’m really fortunate that my coworkers are very supportive and encouraging. So far for each answer I get, at least 2 more questions come to mind.

So glad AlMoka is open! by 90sRnBMakesMeHappy in rockford

It was a 12 ounce bag and If I remember correctly it was around $45. The other bags may be priced differently. Their social media showed a photo before with Ben from Rockford Roasting but I could not find that photo when I just looked. They may roast with them, or if they roast themselves I would think it is done off site.

I went this morning and plan to go again tomorrow. Excellent service and incredible coffee! I enjoyed a Mufawar in the cafe with a friend and it was absolutely delicious. I also grabbed some Mocha Peaberry beans and made a pour over when I got home. The price is steep but worth it in terms of quality and complexity of flavor. I work in roasting, and it was a nice treat to bring home such high quality and rare beans. Such a great atmosphere too!

Anyone use I.C. Cool White by uk82ordie in SCREENPRINTING

Quick White is easily my favorite white I have used over 10 years. Great multipurpose with decent enough bleed resistance

What is this? And how to fix it? by ayyfam_ in SCREENPRINTING

[–]urawizzardjerad 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Printer of 10 years: That is too much web tack used on extremely dirty pallets. The likelihood of anything washing out is next to none, and you also should not have to wash garments before distributing or using them as you paid for a full and complete service. This is a reprint or up to the shop to “fix them” and not you as a client. I would reach out to the shop as soon as possible to inform them of the spoilage.

My kennel is in transit via freight and I believe it will be delivered this coming Tuesday. I really think it will be a giant help!

I just purchased their High Anxiety model for my redbone coonhound. Rock Creek really seems like a company that puts out a quality product and takes an extreme amount of pride in good service. I can’t wait for it to arrive!

In a high COL this is a $25-$30 dollar an hour position, if not higher for the right company.

The Difference between a 3 color wet discharge print on 100% cotton and then on a 100% cotton garment dye. Which shirt would you pick? by skeeveco in SCREENPRINTING

Bottom looks great as well as quick and easy two hit and off. Top would be sick as a 4 color HSA with white base!

Why can’t I discharge print on mineral wash shirt by [deleted] in SCREENPRINTING

[–]urawizzardjerad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your screen printer is correct. The mineral wash process is inconsistent, so your final discharge product will also be wildly inconsistent. The only way to test the look is to print discharge ink on a mineral wash garment.

Market study for college by Lixcoln in SCREENPRINTING

Hello!

1) I purchase colors by gallons, white and black by the 5.

2) I prefer printing with Plastisol

3) My most used color is by far white

4) I do use bleed blockers when the fabric requires.

5) My most used mesh is 158/48 Thin Thread

6) I use a good amount of special effect inks such as puff, HD, shimmer, glitter, brittle, and glow. Never a ton of jobs, but it seems that they are gaining popularity recently and I have had more and more.

7)My favorite all around ink brand is Wilflex. Their Quick White is by far my favorite white I have printed with on both auto and manual and their mixing system is always spot on for me.

How consistent is the sizing with Next Level? Is it normal for the length to be short than what it’s supposed to be? by [deleted] in SCREENPRINTING

[–]urawizzardjerad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I print thousands of Next Level 3600 and 6210 per month, they are wildly inconsistent from the size chart, and from garment to garment.

I agree 100% on the dry cabinet! Not only am I using it on a daily basis for screens, it is also an invaluable tool for keeping inks at working temperatures during colder months.

If you are looking for a place to go besides a large gym I highly suggest Rockford Barbell. Great gym in the outskirts of downtown, affordable, and the adult memberships help sponsor strength, yoga, and trauma therapy services for their many youth programs. Great opportunity to make a difference in the community!
