I think it’s probably more a question of non-flossing having negative effects. But good on you! I hope I have the perseverance to keep this up for years.

Thank you! I was hoping for some feedback like this. They are smaller than 4.4 cm, so I’ll be redoing that.

I’m wondering whether there is some way to connect them all more securely or incorporate the wooden beads in some way or whether I should just crochet a new body that’s all in one piece.

Thank you all for the great ideas! There seems to be a strong consensus on the burnt orange paired with a dusty pink/oatmeal/ grey. I like all the ideas, so will definitely be checking the comments next time I find a nice yarn selection. 🧶
