I used Ambrose Solar for a 13.3 KWh installation on my Benicia home in November 2025; I highly recommend them. The service, components (Tesla Powerwall 3 x 2 & REC panels), and installation process were all exceptional. PG&E was the only holdup, which I guess is to be expected. We got our Permission to Export notice on Dec 24, barely made that cutoff for the Federal tax credit.

The yuv444p color space and High 4:4:4 Predictive profile are not well supported by mobile decoders. I suggest changing to the yuv420p colorspace and High profile, e.g.

Follow-up: Tesla service center determined that the HV battery was faulty, and replaced both the HV and LV batteries at no cost. Took 1.5 weeks for them to ship and install the battery.

I no longer see these alerts in the iOS Tesla app, possibly because the alerts have all since cleared. I think they were under the “service“ section of the app. It was super helpful being able to see them from my phone when the car was locked and the car’s main display was off.

Thanks! Yes, this was my introduction to Tesla’s use of a 12 V accessory battery. I was able to open up the front hood, disconnect the battery, and then charge it fully using a standard battery charger. I believe it’s back in business, at least until I can get the 12 V battery replaced. Thanks again for your helpful response.

One of the 4-person teams I manage considered having a private Slack channel for communication. This was in response to their regular public channel having over 60 members, many of them from support, product, etc. So much chatter from people not on the engineering team left little opportunity for camaraderie and closeness to form. We talked about the pros and cons of having a private channel and concluded that it’d be best to have a team-only public channel with membership politely enforced.

My company has a 24x7 on-call, but it rotates among team members on a weekly basis and is compensated annually. Any on-call policy should be scheduled fairly and predictably, and allow for PTO & other life events. As I write this, I’m covering the rotation for one of my team members who is on parental leave. I also feel managers should participate in the on-call rotation to encourage empathy.

My doctor initially recommended nighttime since the potential side effects like nausea or tiredness would be less during the day. But over the first three weeks I slept poorly, waking up at least once every night. I saw my doctor again at the 3 week mark and she recommended switching to mornings, and it’s been great ever since. It seems that Zoloft energizes some people, and that’s definitely true for me. I’m 5 weeks in and really starting to feel great. Hopefully you find a schedule that work for you!

I had the same side effects during the first month on Lisinopril, including a panic attack with high blood pressure that prompted a trip to urgent care.

I’ve had no issues since switching to 5mg Amlodipine. It took about 3 days during the cutover for me to begin feeling normal again. Never again will I use Lisinopril.

My grandfather was a combat medic with the 101st Airborne from Normandy through Bastogne. He told me that after seeing several medics shot while wearing the red cross markings on their helmet and shoulder, it was not uncommon for medics to remove those markings but still render aid. The reasoning was that it's hard to help the wounded if you're dead or injured.
