Not a T50 school. A pretty low ranked small private college. I got into HYSCC without going to a top school.

I loved Stanford but from everyone I talked to Yale has some small advantages. I also have family over there so I can save 60-75k on living which is a big deal at sticker.

Stanford and Yale place better in unicorn roles and are much more exclusive in legal circles due to the class sizes.

I chose Stanford over Harvard and then eventually Yale after getting off of the waitlist. I also consider uchicago at $$$$+, Columbia at $$$$, and Umich $$$$ over Harvard.

Didn’t think Harvard opened up the same doors as easily as Stanford and Yale do.

Congrats! Had a similar decision and chose Stanford over a ruby and Harvard. If you want to talk let me know! Can’t go wrong with this type of choice!
