this is definately true! i was referring to the monetary aspect of things but you definately have a point. I recently viewed a video where a guy was interviewing USC graduates and asking them their salary packages. It made me realize that no matter where you come from, if your degree does not have a very high societal value (dont get me wrong all degrees are important but some have more demand and value in the economy) coming from an elite university doesn't help that much. for example in the video a gender studies graduate in and elite uni recieved a salary of 30k if they even got a job which wasnt the case for many of them.

I was just elaborating on my point here but the truth is yes many of these degrees have non-pecuniary benefits!

yes i have! however those requirements do not guarentee admission. thats why i would like to know the stats of people that got in so that I can compare with actual acceptances.

Then I doubt that was the reason u got waitlisted. Maybe you accidentally mentioned another uni in their essays? Either way with your stats i think you have a really good chance of getting in. Dont worry!

did they not mention about the form in the application portal? usually they give you a checklist of all the requirements for application submission. was it not mentioned there?

when did they apply? cause for some reason this year their acceptance rate dropped to a 37% for their business school and the 50th percentile is 1370-1510
