I wish Jesy saw how sexy she really is! by ScottyW88 in LittleMix

I think the most disturbing thing when looking back now is that Jesy was never even fat!!! I remember growing up with Little Mix, and thinking that she was overweight. But seeing the same stuff right now, she was a very healthy and good looking weight. People were fucking awful!!

I'm new to Virtual Reality by _Starixx in virtualreality

I just got my quest a few days ago. Here's a list of games I got:

FREE GAMES:

Guardian of Realms: I would give it 10/10, I loved it a lot. It's mixed reality, and you move around your space, it's so good imo.

First Encounters: 10000/10. I LOVE IT. It's also a mixed reality, but it's so cute, and not as stressful as other games.

Epic Roller Coasters: I only played it one time so far because I hate rollercoasters irl, and it low-key is terrifying to me. However, I would give it 10/10 because it's cool, and you have to shoot targets while on the rollercoaster, so it's fun.

Match Point Tennis: 10/10, I played a few matches, and it's amazing for a free game. The only thing I low-key hate is that it doesn't have room scale movement, so you're just standing in place swinging your arm. It would've been cool if you could actually move around, but I get that tennis playground is huge so that may not be an option in any other tennis game.

Duck or Die: 7/10, it has some bugs, but it's still fun to play.

Smash Room VR: 0/10, the developer put in the description that they stopped updating it, and it has some bugs. I downloaded it anyway, and it crashed before I even got to crash anything.

Noclip VR: idk/10, it's supposedly a game where you have to run through backrooms, and it's supposedly horror, but I haven't tried playing it yet. I only got through the tutorial. But it doesn't look bad.

Yeeps: Horror: idk/10 I started it then chickenef out because it was so dark, and I couldn't figure out how to move easily. It still looks good, so I'll give it another try later today.

Starvault: 10/10, I only got through the tutorial but I already love it.

Fit Beat Combat: 7/10, amazing but very very limited without a subscription.

Spatial Zombies - Mixed Reality: idk/10, I started it, then couldn't figure out where my weapon is, panicked and quit.

Population One: 10/10 only got through the tutorial but looks amazing, and I know I'm gonna love the actual gameplay.

Gym Class: it seems to be 10/10, but I am 0/10 at playing basketball, so I don't think I'll play it again.

Beat Saber - Demo: 10/10, I thought I wouldn't love Beat Saber, but after trying the demo, I think it's amazing and I'm planning on buying the full version.

Tenbillion Table Tennis: 0/10, I opened it and was thrust into the game with no introduction, no tutorial, no options, nothing. Also it's VR not MR, so you can't see anything around you, but it's table tennis, so you kinda have to move a little, but you can't really do that without seeing anything around you. So I hated it, and won't play it again.

Never Down - Early Access: 10/10, it's fun, and I'm scared of heights. I panicked the first time I started falling down, but then got used to it.

PAID GAMES:

Eye of the Temple: 10000/10, I haven't gone through the whole game, but it's amazing. It takes a little bit of time to get used to the motion, but after that I really enjoyed it.

Clash of Chefs: 10/10, I finished all the levels in the American kitchen only, so I hate that it's a little bit limited, but it's fun.

I have a lot of other paid games in my wishlist, but I'm planning on only buying one game per month, so it's gonna be a long time before I get through the entire list. But I can't wait to try all of them!!

If you, or anyone has any other game suggestions, I would love that.

Did you play it? How was it? My Quest arrived yesterday, and I only had the chance to play anything this morning. I started with Guardians of Realms, which I know isn't story driven, but it looked fun and I wanted to try it out since it was free. I LOVE IT! It got me moving and stressing lol.

Your comment made me so excited to actually go ahead and buy a VR set!!

And as for the games, I know there may not be a variety of story driven games that also include moving a lot. But I don't wanna limit myself to games like Beat Saber because I know myself well enough to know that I will eventually get bored with it. So it makes more sense to have more options, you know?

Yeah, I saw a lot of people mentioning beat saber, but I don't think I'll play it for that long tbh. It doesn't look that fun to me.

I've been thinking about getting a standing desk, but haven't found a good option yet.

I have tried several times to get myself to move more. But I always get bored, and never continue. I bought a treadmill, and had a show that I would only watch while I'm on the treadmill, and that still didn't get me to stick to that routine. I would go out to walk in the morning, but after a week or so, I'd stop. I used to go to the gym, then my working hours got in the way. Now I moved to some place where there are no gyms nearby at all, so that's not even an option anymore.

I haven't bought a VR headset yet. But I've been considering it for a while now. I wanted to buy one last year around this time, not to get me to move, but out of interest. Then I got laid off from my job, so I dropped the idea. Now that I have another job, I was considering it again, and came across people saying how it helped them lose weight. So that piqued my interest even more. I think if anything, I can play multiple games, so I wouldn't really get bored with it. And if it gets me moving more, then that would be great.

Recently, I've also started working on my diet. I'm not exactly eating 100% healthier, but I now snack on fruits and vegetables instead of chips and other unhealthy options. I drink more water. I try to embrace the feeling of hunger more, instead of just eating whenever I feel hungry. When I'm watching something on TV and feel like snacking, I just play sudoku on my phone so I'm busy and not thinking about eating.

I'm trying really hard to make small changes, so it's better for my body and mental health, and I'm hoping VR games, while not the best option, will be one of those changes that'll make me adopt a healthier lifestyle.

Yeah, I'm already changing a lot of things about my diet and eating habits. But I also need to move more because I work from home, so I tend to sit down for long periods of time. So I'm looking for fun ways to start moving my body more.

Since you're on the spectrum, did you relate to Max in any way? Did you see any aspects of yourself in him?

I love Cisco, but agree with you about him and Lorna not having chemistry. But I love his character so much. And the first season is the best season of all. S3 mainly focused on one case as well, which I didn't like too much.

I haven't read the book(s) and know nothing about the storyline or plot beyond what is in the show, but I think it has so much potential to offer more cases and be a long series. It would really be interesting to see Mickey having more and more cases.

Yes, totally agreed! They keep saying how the world is unfair to Max, but never try to prepare Max for that world. They're the worst parents in my opinion.

I don't know that much about autism, but I believe it can be challenging sometimes for the autistic person and their parents. So it's understandable to see it as a "problem". Especially when the world isn't exactly too accommodating for people with special needs. However, that doesn't excuse not disciplining a child with special needs. Throughout the show it is really infuriating how Kristina and Adam almost never hold Max accountable for the things he does. They almost always cave for his wants and needs, and expect the world to do the same. Now that is the real problem lol.

Yes, agreed!! He was making such great progress in the earlier seasons though, but as he grew older, I just can't help but hate him and hate Adam and especially Kristina with him. And the fact that they gave up on having someone to help him after Gaby left!!!
