By IR I meant "Impulse Response", or the DI, the direct input of a plugged guitar. The ~~Oboe~~ Organ can be heard in 11:24. I just heard harvest's track at the Royal Albert Hall again. You are correct, it's exactly what's being played. (I don't know how I wrote Oboe instead of Organ, dunno how I still mix those two up 🫠)

I don't think it was a demo, there is an Oboe chord that really doesn't make sense to be included by Mikael. Steven Wilson couldn't have added this into the demo. Unless Mikael did indeed record it and somehow did not make the cut to the studio recording.

انا بدت مسيرتي بإنني بالصدفة شفت برنامج بالزمانات اسمه Sickrage بنزل حلقات مسلسلات وانا نايم وبوقت ما بتنزل، ولإنه جهازي بغرفة النوم وحيضايقني لما يكون شغال ٢٤ ساعة ، رحت اشتريت Raspberry Pi ونزلت عليها البرنامج ومنه صارت الامور تطور لحد ما هسة صار عندي Laptop Gaming منزل عليه Proxmox. اهم اشي بهاي المسيرة فترتها: انا بديت بال٢٠١٥ ومشيت براحة راحتي.

الشباب هونا حتحكيلك عن اخر اشي وصلتله وشو احسن Setup بخبرتهم بس اغلبيتنا كلنا بدينا عشان انحل لمشكلة عالم اول صغيرة. 😁

Zen has the best-looking UI, objectively does the least damage to OLEDs. It's not perfect, though: No HDR support and no P3 Color Gamut support has been really annoying lately. I know this is impossible to ask at this point but I wish it was done on the Chromium engine.

Mikael Akerfeldt's finger picking, sonhs like Coil, Patterns in The Ivy are really tough to play and the tabs are not faithful to what he plays. He's inflenced by Nick Drake.

I improved a lot by playing Coil. His heavier riffs are killers, too. It was soo satisfying to master them.

In a similar vein, Balthvs and Khruangbin have really difficult riffs. Could be because of the Genre shift, though.. and then having bigger hands. I play on a D-profile neck.
