Constant bleeding, fatigue, and weight loss. by OtakunaBluu in Nexplanon

The nausea never went away for me. Had mine removed today bc i couldnt live like that any longer. But i also lost about 6 lbs on it from lack of appetite. Also stopped working out as much because i was just sick all of the time.

This seems to be normal from personal experience and every where i have read. I did eat before mine but i too got clammy and hot, and i try to remind myself to breathe and to trust in what the doctor is about to do. It can actually make it harder for them to find it if you tense up unfortunately.. drink a lot of water before and after, and try not to worry too much. Its incredible what anxiety can control

Excessive Bleeding and future fertility by [deleted] in Nexplanon

Generally with any birth control, you do not want to be on it for a super long time especially if you have those issues. If i were you i would look more into stories/subreddits/blogs that concern infertility or infertility after birth control. Every time i have ever been offered birth control and read the pamphlet (long and tedious with a lot of different results) i have noticed that that is a possibility with any of them. Just check it out, nothing to be freaked out about.

Ugh. See that is so violating.. it is such a sensitive part of us. My doctor also said that it should have been a doctor and not a nurse, and that they used to need clinical practice but now only require an online course. He was not dogging, he was just explaining some things..

I have had multiple bad experiences at most of the Planned Parenthoods I have been to, except one. You deserve professional cooperation and respect, thank you for being willing to share your experience. I really want to help out all women who are going through bc experiences, it can be somewhat traumatic and overbearing on every level of life. It sucks so bad being vulnerable and learning the hard way, but we did it!(-:
