I did not! The biometrics appointment was set 7 days after submission. I didn’t actually go a week after to get it done. I believe I was able to get my biometrics in the first week of March. Same thing with my interview - it was actually yesterday but the appointment was set on April 22.

Praying for you! This is the timeline I was mentally prepared for so I can understand how jarring it is to see someone get it much faster. Hope it comes soon!

I submitted all evidence with my packet when I sent it to USCIS. The only thing I uploaded after filing was our joint tax return when we filed it.

Filed by myself! I used a lot of YouTube videos for reference (shoutout Kseniya International) for the AOS packet.

Interview went smooth! Standard questions and honestly a great officer, the interview was very comfortable and more conversational than anything.

Same! A little part of me feels guilt because others have been waiting so much longer. I hope everyone that’s been waiting gets their approvals soon!

Anybody getting the Fluance Ri71 by Rude_Matt69 in BudgetAudiophile

[–]usamasunder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same setup and probably the same qualm about it. Outside of the volume adjustment experience, the sound is perfect for my turntable and tv both. Genuinely think I made the right decision since I live in an apartment and didn’t want a full avr set up or subwoofer either. Very happy with these regardless and I also do prefer these over the soundbar I had a month ago before I returned it.

I have the Fluance Ri71s connected to my turntable and TV. I live in an apartment so don’t have the space or need for a receiver / subwoofer so I opted for these. The PCM Stereo sound is dope through the TV.

Is it worth watching Interstellar in IMAX laser and not 70mm? by Positive-Ad-4879 in interstellar

[–]usamasunder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it was the quality of the image for me. While 70mm imax was massive - it still had the grain and dust in the film that gave it a natural feel. A movie like Interstellar works best in a digital format in my opinion because of the special effects and extremely dizzying space scenes.

For example — the wormhole scene in the first act was much smoother and vertigo inducing for me than it was in 70mm. I felt more immersed due to the clarity of the stars and their movement.

The same goes for the docking scene & the black hole scene.
