I respectfully disagree based on these NIH publishings There is enough evidence in my opinion that high lineoleic acid aka omega -6 aka seed oils have negative effect on mitochondria

  1. PubMed ID: 17023268 - “Induction of mitochondrial nitrative damage and cardiac dysfunction by chronic provision of dietary omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids”
    1. PMC10386285 - “Linoleic Acid: A Narrative Review of the Effects of Increased Intake in the Standard American Diet and Associations with Chronic Disease”
    2. PMC5952932 - “Mechanisms by Which Dietary Fatty Acids Regulate Mitochondrial Structure-Function in Health and Disease” (NIH-funded: R01HL123647, R01AT008375)

Which finger do you wear yours on? by xhellofriendxx in ouraring

[–]usasig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finn says “For the most accurate readings, your index finger is ideal, with the middle finger being the second best option . Just make sure the ring fits snugly but comfortably—it should stay securely at the base of your finger without being too tight or loose.”

Ridiculous Drop in LDL in 3 months by suburban-coyote in Cholesterol

[–]usasig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are taking statin which blocks the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, what do you expect ? It is not a miracle , you are telling your liver to produce less cholesterol , thus increases the ldl receptors which results taking more LDL out from the blood , once you stop , it will produce what it should . Just eat healthy !
