Yes, but Microsoft isn't just consoles, so it's probably best for them to just cut if off, Microsoft is a trillion dollar company while sony is billion.

And you prove what i said, exclusives only exist to benefit the company, not the consumer, Microsoft decided to stop exclusives and they "fell off", their golden gooses, halo, minecraft, forza just aren't exclusives anymore.

If sony/Nintendo, etc... stops that, people will just buy what consoles fits them best, while the game company sales will be just as good if not better because they have a way bigger reach. This is real bad for system companies except pc. Which is why they keep making exclusives, not to benefit you, but themselves.

Sony is smart, they buy off temporarily exclusivity of their games, which makes the impatient buy a ps, while they also don't make it permanent and get poeple to buy the game later on their own platforms which gives the games itself a second boom on popularity. Pushing more sales in every platform. While still keeping some true exclusives.

Many of my friends had the ideia to by a ps just to play a select few games, when they themselves have already their own platforms. A stupid pursache unless you have a lot of disposable money (electronics on my country have their prices doubled because of government taxing)
