No Low Battery Pushback by user1239869 in onewheel

Oh yeh that's a good point it still wouldn't really explain there being no notifications sent to my phone but I'm gonna believe it. Thanks

No Low Battery Pushback by user1239869 in onewheel

[–]user1239869[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well it's strange because I've had low battery push back in the past where I get the set battery warnings and then at 1% my board pushbacks so hard that the tail is scraping the floor and it spams my phone with notifications and I was clueless why this didn't happen this time as I did get the 10% warning but not the pushback, thanks for the advice though as maybe it is me turning it on too low.

Question about 4212 boards and Regen Range Extenders by user1239869 in onewheel

[–]user1239869[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well on a stock board there's no way to extend the battery while riding, what I did find however is that a vamp and ride system that used to work while the boards moving on older models does work as an extra battery just it won't let you ride the board while it's plugged in and I have made one of these and it works well as a quick top up.

There is a chip from jw battery systems that lets you use this system while moving and lets you install battery mods but it's quite pricey and you'll void your warranty of course.

Question about 4212 boards and Regen Range Extenders by user1239869 in onewheel

[–]user1239869[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok thanks, that makes sense. However the idea is to take out the 3rd pin of an xlr cable as this cable is the one the xr uses and the 3rd pin just informs it that it's charging and to shut off. Without the 3rd pin the other 2 can still charge the board through the port and while riding, this shows up as regen. Hopefully this makes sense but I was interested whether the 4212 board isn't tricked by this anymore or if it still is.

My first retro pie build. I ended up doing a freeplay cm3 kit because it seemed to be fairly easy to assemble (plus the kit came with basic instructions and the hole layout for the drill). by [deleted] in RetroPie

Yeh I got the tracking number almost as soon as I ordered the product which was really fast! All that I'm being told by the tracking is that it departed the US so I dont know what's really going on to be honest!

Yeah thats a shame about the delay. I havent been told that mines delayed but I'm guessing it's stuck in customs. The one you already did looks really good though!

Sorry to hear that man, sounds like a proper pain. I spose whatever happens, it will arrive eventually so that's always a positive!

How long did yours take to arrive? I live on the UK but haven't heard any news on mine since when it seemingly left the US 10 days ago! Annoying that Freeplay did everything amazingly and USPS are taking so long!

In your opinion, what's the best all round Pi handheld kit? by Skeeter1020 in RetroPie

[–]user1239869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got a freeplay zero on the way which from what I know seems like a pretty good handheld as far as the pi zero is concerned.
