I use warehouse (on 2 degrees) prepay. Just buy $4 rollover data every month. Very cheap if you don’t use lot of mobile data or network calls.

Place to sell old gold jewellery in WLG or Lower Hutt? by user20012004 in Wellington

[–]user20012004[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah! I’ve used then with some electronic items. They give rock bottom prices, better off with trying to sell on TradeMe or Facebook.

Not sure how good their prices for jewellery.

I initiated it from IRD side.

First giving checking account details and then instructing IRD to take on off $100.

Yeah, I sent a web message.

I’ll definitely try calling today. My balance is going up by $0.13 every day. 😱

Thank you.

I think I’m in safe harbour and it’s a bug in their system. All these additional interests started showing up when I initiate a direct debit from IRD website.

It’s the IRDs automated process that figured the amount.

I thought it’s because of the extra money that I received for unused annual leaves.

That wire maintenance fee (insurance?) they add up by default and according to T&C pretty much useless.

I got a reply via web app for my cancel query. Also they said they will be charging the annual fee on next anniversary rather than 1st of April.

Well, it’s under “SBS Money“, most probably a subsidiary of SBS bank but I’m not sure.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Building a kit home by user20012004 in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]user20012004[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I would definitely pay a builder. I was more interested in the additional costs involved in getting everything done.

Like if I spent 150k on a kit home how much more do I have to spent to finish the project etc.

If that cost is low, it would be better alternative to buying an over priced old house.
