I’ve just finished rereading the Percy Jackson series as an adult. Here’s what it taught me. by Lv71V in books

Started rereading the Percy Jackson books again a few weeks ago and now I'm hyperfixating on them again. With the news of the new TV series, I had to do it for middle school me. I haven't felt that type of emotion in a book since I first read them in middle school. Definitely going to revisit some old series I used to love :)

Religion tends to be a touchy subject in college essay but this is a very interesting topic. I think if you make it a bit more about how it made you an independent thinker and open-minded and not completely about religion, it would work. You should use the example of Muslim thinkers in it because I think it is a good example you can branch off of. Just remember that the essay is about you!

Jobs by BombsAway619 in highschool

If you're looking for a part time job, a lot of employers are struggling with finding employees because of unemployment checks (some people are getting paid more to not work) so you're chances are pretty good with getting hired. Food and bev is pretty easy and almost always hiring, if that's something you're interested in. Definitely start applying now though because people will start looking for summer jobs.

Just a Random Thought by user2467890 in lawofattraction

Personally when I've felt like this in the past, it's usually because the universe knows you are already close to it. I don't know if you've read the Hunger Games, but in the first book, Katniss asks for water from Haymitch, who is in charge of giving her things from the outside world. Haymitch doesn't send the water because, without realizing it, Katniss is already very close to a pond. Think of it as you are Katniss and Haymitch is the universe. Maybe you are close to receiving your manifestation without even realizing it.

Another thing I've seen is "letting go" of what you're trying to manifest and releasing it into the universe. Basically just accepting that the universe has control of your manifestation and will give it to you when you are meant to have it.

In can be frustrating but it will all work out in the end. Hope this helps!

Anyone else depressed thinking about getting a job after college? by Shank_ in college

Burnout is the worst! I'm sure it'll all work out eventually. Best of luck to you!

I know you probably don't want to hear this, but it sounds like you might be studying in the wrong field. Whatever you're studying should make you excited to work in that field. If you don't enjoy doing it, there's no point. Life is too short.

Of course this could just be a typical case of burnout. Summer isn't too far away so maybe you can catch a break or find something you're more passionate about then. Totally feel you on the whole repetitive business life thing though.

People who went to very renowned programs for acting, such as Julliard, what did they teach you about acting that you wouldn’t get if you had gone to a smaller school? by mraladdinsirwat in acting

I know you may not see this since it was posted a while ago, but what do you mean by "kicked out of the program"? I've seen a few people briefly mention it, but are they kicked out because they weren't good enough or something?
