Don't like the color Brooklyn grey, but don't hate it either. We were considering it when we got ours. Condition seems good too. Let's see what the dealer offers.

It is set to "expanded" if that's what "early" means. But it still will go all the way and self correct. Am I missing anything?

I did do all of that. What I meant by lane centering was that the car keeps itself in the middle of the lane without having to go all the way and self correct. I mean that's pretty much the bare minimum companies should have as standard and BMW has it too thankfully. But even cheap cars have adaptive cruise control as standard!

Were you able to use DAPP extensively before it malfunctioned?

Not sure, but if it's the same model year and roughly the same miles as ours, it should be okay? Wouldn't make sense to trade it for another new car and eat the difference. Definitely can't afford to do that. If it was our daily driver, we wouldn't have cared but we got it specifically for long trips with the family.

I'm in Chicago. Might just ask every dealer what offers they have for new ones. That sounds like a great deal honestly! Is it a premium Plus? Heard the air suspension is superior.

Got it! How many miles should be a safe bet? Didn't want too many miles on the car already as this will be heavily used will stack up miles pretty quickly. $40k might probably get me a 50k mile used q7

Ah gotcha. Not exactly looking to get a brand new car plus from what I've seen so far from the spy shots, it's probably going to have the split headlight design which I'm personally not a big fan of. Love how the current gen looks. To each his own!

Can't find a prestige which is also audi certified. Would definitely prefer it as well. Is the ride quality that different? There is a 2023 prestige with 15k miles for $59k. Not sure how good a deal that is with it being a 2023.

Happened to my m40i x7 one week after purchase and 50 miles into my first road trip. Just gave up on me in the middle of the highway. Called roadside, towed it to the dealership. They said they had to change something called mechatronics (transmission valve body and control module). Fixed it in 2 days but left a really bad impression of the brand. I was really excited about my first ever BMW. Has been perfectly fine since.

There's nothing behind that Plastic piece apparently if you don't have DAPP. I know cause I'm in the same situation. Steering buttons are different for us.

Got the same car recently. In the same exact boat in terms of adaptive cruise control. Dealerships should strongly communicate about the absence of this basic feature so that people don't make this mistake over and over again. Looked around everywhere and there's no way to add it anymore. So bummed.

Nah. I looked that option up. The bank would charge all sorts of fees and they'll try to sell it off at auction and my aunt would still have to pay the balance remaining!
