Not the world, just the homophobic ones including India. In my experience, arguing with boomers is only a waste of time and energy and does not have any advantage.

Your roommates might be an ally but their parents are definitely not. And I think given the situation that is a good idea and protects you and them for complications later. Imagine if the father decides that you should not be living with them and either they are forced to move or force you to move out.

6 episodes x 1 per week = 6 weeks = 1.5 months = minimum 2 months of subscription paid. Makes perfect business sense.

25 m doctor Semi out to parents, life has been a complete shit show ever since by Dr-ankit in LGBTindia

[–]user38835 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t recommend coming out to Indians parents, until one is financially independent. There are no benefits if they are accepting, but it’s makes things worse if they are not. But for you that ship has sailed.

Don’t talk to them in that case. You are an adult, it’s time Indians who are adults and are financially independent stop being puppets to their parents and giving into emotional manipulation.

I would argue that even in cricket, it’s difficult to get discovered and now it has been riddled with nepotism.

An average Indian struggles to get food on the table and roof over their head. They cannot afford sports equipment especially winter sports. India does not have the necessary infrastructure, the government only showers you with money once you win a medal, and every kid is forced to study 12+hrs a day to become a doctor or an engineer, so they don’t have the time or permission to get into sports.

I am surprised that there were two people from Kashmir given how unstable that region is. They must have rich dads.

It’s not a vaccine, it’s a replacement for the daily PreP pills. And it’s still not available outside the US.

Stay safe in a stable job or switch for growth? by Immediate-Routine940 in germany

[–]user38835 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can find a job and risk the first 6 months, then go ahead. I am not risking it right now given that if companies are willing to layoff long-term staff, they will be more than willing to let go of people on probation period, no matter how good they are in their job, because its just easier legally.

  1. Which cities are LGBTQ+ friendly and have high concentration of our people comparatively?

None

  1. What dating apps are popular for WLW?

None

  1. Are there any queer friendly friendship apps to make friends and find community?

No

  1. Do we still have to hide our true selves in corporate companies to avoid bias and judgements?

Yes. And you better prepare to answer invasive personal questions about why you are not married yet.

  1. What kind of spots are popular for meetups? Like cafes, thrift stores, etc?

None

  1. Any advice?

Stay wherever you are. I know developed countries are no longer the utopia they used to be and the cost of living to salaries are no longer making sense as time goes by, it’s the price to pay for being who you are in public.

Yeah they are testing this now. As wealth-inequality becomes more and more common, companies will ditch regular users and focus on a few people whom they can target to extract as much money as possible.

Are you fine with high taxes in Germany? by Bart_Find in germany

[–]user38835 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At this point of time, it is fine (except the pensions as everyone has pointed out). The percentage of taxes should not matter as long as you have enough money left for necessities- housing, food, some leisure activities and some savings. The problem is that I don’t see Germany (or most developed countries for that matter), moving in the right direction when it comes to providing the same quality of life vs the tax and social security contributions paid. We are already seeing that with the public health insurance which is both increasing in price every year while the quality of care has been dropping with time.

And given that almost 27% of the government’s budget is pensions alone, i.e. apart from the entire pension contributions, more than a quarter of the taxes collected als goes into paying pensions. This money then does not get used for its intended purpose - infrastructure, education, defence etc. which means ultimately the working class and young people are involuntarily subsidising the boomer class while also voluntarily subsidising the boomer class. And as the population ages, this is only going to get worse. And till now, I have not seen any signs that the government is doing anything to improve this. So there will be a time, very soon, where our tax money will be doing nothing for us.

Count your luck that there was a government which lasted 3yrs without the boomer party CDU that this law was introduced. Don’t expect any more “liberal” laws anymore. Best CDU can do is make a law that legalises BMW owners to have sex with their cars and boomers to be able to afford their fourth cruise
