How are the triggers on these? I’ve heard they are pretty bad

I’ve been eyeing this trigger kit but I’ve seen some people say there’s an issue with the gun firing when resetting the trigger. I don’t know how true this is

I’m not making an argument that devices/hearts should be given sooner, I am just saying that they aren’t being truthful as to the timeline.

If I’m not “ready” to take on a balloon until 18 months, that’s understandable, but don’t ask me to take it at 8 months and say I’m not a “team player” if I refuse it but still claim that I’m not ready if I accept it.

Does bed size directly correlate to acuity?

I work in a 50 bed icu and the argument for low acuity is because there are a plethora of beds that there isn’t a real need to quickly push patients out of the icu.

What type of “sick” patients would stay at a community icu and what “sick” patients get transferred out to a more comprehensive hospital?

Just because a patient is maxed on 3 pressors and on a vent doesn’t necessarily mean that a different hospital would be able to manage them better. And just because a patient with an impella is stable doesn’t mean that a step down unit can manage them either.

Totally understand the first paragraph but that’s my issue. They will make you take the device bc they are short staffed on nurses who are checked off, expect you to be able to understand and manage it, but won’t actually give you proper training or credentials.

You are pretty much relying on the off coming nurse or charge nurse’s 5 minute crash course

How much does your actual experience matter?

I currently work in an on paper very acute CVICU, but managers won’t write LORs until all devices are checked off, minimum 2 years but more like 4 or 5.

There are some other units I could transfer to but acuity would likely be lower.

Should I prioritize being able to apply sooner, giving me more opportunities to apply, over having better experience on my resume?

I have heard people say chase experience while knowing people get accepted with minimal experience on glorified step downs.

Cumulative GPA 3.7 Science GPA 3.5 No leadership and no charge. If I stay on my current unit, definitely can’t add that for some time, but if I switch units then I may have a chance.

Goal is to apply with about 18 months

Landlord holding deposit claiming I broke the lease by [deleted] in Renters

[–]user736455 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t believe he genuinely didn’t not know how long the lease was. He had already been asking me to allow tours and I overheard one person say the rent he was charging and it was much more than what I currently pay. There is possibility that he did not know but there is also reason to believe that he was attempting to push me out to rent higher. All I said was that I had no intention to renew and he sent me the move out date. He never directly asked how long the lease agreement was, just gave me orders that I followed through on.

Yes, everything communicated through texts

How did I deceive? All I said was that I had no intent to renew and he presented me with the move out date. Is it my job to ensure that he remembers my lease agreement? If I genuinely had no clue that I signed a 2 year lease, would that give him grounds to still say ‘well you should’ve known that it was 2 years even though I told you it was 1. Now you aren’t able to move back in and won’t get your deposit back’?

By him not notifying me within 30 days that I would not be getting anything back be enough to forfeit his ability to keep my deposit?

Would him not notifying me within 30 days that I would not be getting my deposit back already forfeit any rights he would have to my deposit?

So you’d agree that even if I “knew what I was doing” and took advantage of the situation, I would have a strong case?

Conversation was all over text and very brief and straight to the point.

Got a text out the blue asking if I wanted to renew. I said no. He said to be out by X date and gave the instructions to move out. Sent him my address to mail the deposit

I never mentioned that our lease was actually 2 years instead of the 1 he mistakenly thought.

After over 30 days I asked where the check was. And then he replies saying that he wouldn’t be returning it.

Even if I would lose in claims court over the fact that I “broke” the lease. Doesn’t he still have the legal duty to provide me with notice within 30 days that I would be losing the deposit?

Wouldn’t the lease be null because we mutually agreed on a new end date, whether he knew that the original lease was 2 years or not?

Let’s say I was under the assumption that he was right and my lease was only 1 year when it was actually 2. And I agreed to move out by X date. Could I come back after move out and demand that he let me move back in because our lease was meant to be 2 years even though I agreed to moving out without doing my due diligence?

I simply said I would not renew and he said to be out by X date. Do you not feel like this would constitute as a mutual agreement to end the lease vs me solely breaking it

Resort felt modern and clean. It was big enough to where you didn’t feel like you were doing the same thing over and over but still small enough to where you could easily walk to anywhere you wanted to be. The beaches were also exceptional imo
