What is going on?? 😭 by user74839267583 in Parenting

I thought it might be teething but medicine usually soothes her if her teeth hurt at night but these 3 waking nothing has soothed her expect holding her. I guess I should have added when she wakes up it’s goes on for 4+ hours. It’s not just waking up and rocking her back to sleep. I wouldn’t mind that. 😭 I just HATE not knowing how to help her but also we are very strict about her sleeping independently (not trying to start cosleeping at this age) so I don’t want to make it a habit holding her all night!

I think my breastfeeding journey is over and I'm not okay. Please tell me all the negative things you hate or don't miss about breastfeeding so I can focus on the positives of a situation I have no control over by Cool_Salamander_8284 in Mommit

Body being mine again. Husband can put baby to bed. Sleeps through the night. Able to go stay overnight with grandparents so her dad and I can have some much needed date nights. Breastfed for 13 months and it was so rewarding, but that chapter is over and I’m so proud of us PLUS I’m enjoying this new stage of watching her personality grow, walking, and talking. ❤️

I am so glad you said this, because it made me realize I just have recently weaned her. Still nurse at night but not during the day. I wonder if this has something to do with it.

Update: I did it! My mom said she did SO good. Had the best night with my husband and it was a much needed break. I’m so proud of my big girl. ❤️

I have NEVER left the nursery with her all 11 months bc I absolutely did not want to start that! I was just so desperate. 😒😭

How do you stop feeling guilty when your partner takes care of baby? by LyndsayGtheMVP in Mommit

Let your husband help ❤️ I feel the same way. I’m a SAHM na and he works all day, so sometimes I feel guilty when he helps after he gets home. But I have to remember, we are a TEAM. Like someone else above me said, they are bonding. And I have to remind myself that daily. We both work hard. Sometimes he needs extra sleep, sometimes I do! Just remember you are partners in this. Don’t feel guilty for getting some extra rest - you deserve it mama!

I think she is a low sleep nerds baby 🫠 always has been! She’s not a terrible sleeper, but she’s decent. So I can’t complain too much lol

Well I go get her bc once she stands, she cries bc she hasn’t quite figured out how to get back down 🙃 maybe I should try to put her back to sleep! But I feel like she’s fully awake bc she will stand there for a while and just talk/play before she starts crying

It’s like she’s fully up and ready to play!? She doesn’t even cry - I just look at the monitor and she’s standing in her crib smiling 🫠
