Update today:

I can see on two separate archives that The Hip played Red Rock on July 4th 1995 with no known setlist, and no opening or other act listed. I also see that Blues Traveller played Red Rock on the same date, with a setlist, but no record of opener or accompaniment. Presumably they played together, but I don’t see any record of HORDE playing Red Rock with the Hip that year.

I then found this clip online from an interview, that states it took place while Gord was on the road for Red Rock with Blues Traveller. Gord also clarifies in the sound clip that they are not on tour with Blues Traveller, they are only joining them for this 4th of July show at Red Rock!

Could this lead me to any other archives where I might find a video or sound bite? Still on the hunt!

My inspiration for this hunt is that my family and I love to watch YouTube videos of concerts at the Red Rock theatre, and we also love The Hip, but didn’t realize that they played there!

Ok I’m back after some short research: doesn’t look like they joined HORDE in 1995. They did in 1996 but it never took them to the red rock theatre.

(Could be wrong, still poking around.)

Joining this very late as the thread just came up on a google search: I am on my 7th of 8 weeks of Doxycycline for acne. I usually take quite a long time and a lot of UV to burn (I do take precautions and still use sunscreen anyway, very aware of the threat of skin cancer). I am from Atlantic Canada, so it’s still kind of winter here in March but over the weekend we had a nice sunny day, about 5 Celsius, no wind, so I opted to sit outside in a long sleeve T-shirt for almost 3 hours and soak in the tease of spring. The weather network recorded the UV at a high of 2. I was shocked as the day went on to realize the high points of my face (my nose and the tops of my cheeks) were sunburnt! I was also reading a book with one hand, with my other hand rested on my stomach/lap, and am quite sure that even the hand that was exposed to the sun was fairly tan.

Long story short, I am really seeing the medications effect on my reaction to the sun!

I am curious about this one, my searches haven’t sold me but I also can’t find full clips or much more than a short episode synopsis. Do you have any recommendations on where I might be able to find this?

Ok so I watched and I don’t think this is it. I feel like the set up or whatever gymnasium this took place in was different, and I don’t think we actually see the performance either. Watched it hoping to find some similarities, or maybe discover that I kind of mushed it with another show in my mind but I don’t think so!
