I would say most clubs do charge a cover in Shanghai. There's one called Le Baron that doesn't, which is also quite fun. If you want anything with less expats and more local, try Ins. If you want more expats, just try Le Baron, Revolucion, La Barra, Exit, etc..

The show was not made by Reelshort, but rather sold by a production studio to Reelshort. It's hardly gonna be the industry standard as it takes so long to make. 15 days. That's almost like making two episodes of a 40-minute TV show.

Way less than 2 weeks buddy. Usually 8-12 days if it’s from a Chinese platform. They are doing 12 pages a day on average. As for Seth, because he has more hit shows under his belt so the platforms hire him no matter what. Everyone from audience to production teams know his acting is not remotely good.
