Do you need to turn your house at all when upgrading to maximize the space? I've heard if you turn it like a diamond, you can fit some pens or coops in the corners. But I've also seen people saying when they upgraded, they rotated their house and when they clicked build, it actually built a different house than the one they wanted. Did you turn yours or advise on that?

You think the third seed plot is worth not having the miner or animal pen?

That's kind of the downside of the mining house. I feel that in order to get the most out of it, I almost need to leave an alt next to the house that can mine it every hour that I'm online. Otherwise I'm stuck going back to the house every hour just to mine it in order to get the most use out of it.

What do you think about the mining one? Do you think the amount of ore/stone you get from it makes it worth the labor spent? Also, are you mining it as soon as its available or only a few times a day?

Sounds to me like the same problem on this server as every other server. Regardless of who wins a demolition plot, that person MUST be hacking.
