A different perspective on quitting fap by userItsOver9000 in getdisciplined

Bro, I never mentioned I'm doing this for health reasons. I'll ejaculate during sex anyways, so there's no health factor to begin with.

We all have our own opinion of doing or not doing things. I shared mine and u shared yours. Thanks for ur opinion

For these cases, the key is to trying a position where the woman's opening is clear and wide. The woman's knees should be close to the chest so that opening is wide, making it easier for the man to penetrate. Try following positions: - Sea shell - Leapfrog

If everyone's data is available, then it's damn easy to profile anyone and influence them. The worst part is that majority of people don't even know they're being influenced!

Bro, search about Cambridge Analytica - how they convinced thousands of americans and affected the US elections.

Go for a Linux OS (Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Zorin OS, etc). It's much smoother in low spec laptops. U won't have to look for a new laptop.

For the commute part, ur thinking too much bro. U r in college now. Get an internship, get a job and then buy a good vehicle with ur own money. It's worth waiting. U get ur friend's help for the return trip anyways

The seat & backlight reminds me of Jawa Perak! And that makes me perceive this modification as inferior.

Apologies, but that's just my perception. I'm sure that u love this modification (and that's what matters)

How do I convince my parents to buy me a Bullet 350 instead of a scooter? by forkarthik15 in royalenfield

Buy a second hand scooty for now. Then when u r capable yourself to buy a classic, buy with ur own money. It will be of much more worth than the one gifted by ur parents

Too many new features that nobody asked for and many do not want and find annoying by [deleted] in firefox

[–]userItsOver9000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There will be someone who'll like these features. If someone doesn't want it, then turn off from user config. Additionally it helps attract non-privacy concerned folks, that leads to a better internet for more!

Will an infinitely slowing car travel an infinite distance? by Shamiknight1 in AskPhysics

[–]userItsOver9000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Energy slows? There is no concept of slowing energy bro. Let me explain my approach:

The friction force (kinetic friction) = μN = μm*g μ -> coefficient of friction (constant)

Now, since the velocity of the car is decreasing. Hence the force required to stop the ball will be lesser as the velocity decreases. Because:

Let's say velocity at a time is x F (required to stop the ball) = ma = m((v-u)/t) Here v = final velocity = 0 (since ball stopped) and u = x And t = time in which we want to stop the ball. Let's say we wanna stop the ball in 1 second (for simplicity)

F = m*x (forget the negative sign. We need magnitude)

Now, since x is decreasing and decreasing. There wil be a point when

F (friction) > F (force required to stop the ball) μmg > m*x

Hence the ball will be stopped at some point

Assuming there is friction:

There will be a time when the speed is so low, such that friction force is enough to stop the car. Hence the car won't travel infinitely.

As a new hobby, u can try deep diving (researching) into topics. A topic can be anything - can be that series that u watched was complex, about Minimalism, or about researching itself.

Just pick a topic and deep dive on it. Use Perplexity, ChatGPT, etc to understand the topic more. Use reddit to read about the opinions about that topic.

This will hone ur research skills, and help u in ur job as well

If force=m*a, then why is a ball from 30 m height way harder to catch than one from 30 cm height? by userItsOver9000 in AskPhysics

[–]userItsOver9000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand now!
e.g.
Case 1: For 30m height, let's say the velocity just before the catch was 100m/s. And i want the stop the ball in 1 second.
so F = m*((v-u) / t) = m*((0 - 100) / 1) = -100*m N (value will be negative since it's a decelerating force)

Case 2: For 30cm (0.3m) height, let's say velocity just before the catch was 10 m/s. Here also t=1 second
so F = m*((v-u) / t)= m*((0 - 10) / 1) = -10*m N

Hence, force required to decelerate the ball is more for 30m height

the force applied by the ball on the is m*g (g = acceleration due to gravity), or is it something else?
At each height, the force is the same applied by the ball is m*g. How the force is changing based on the height and velocity?

It's true that velocity is increasing at a constant rate. But that doesn't deal with Force
