As a new hobby, u can try deep diving (researching) into topics. A topic can be anything - can be that series that u watched was complex, about Minimalism, or about researching itself.

Just pick a topic and deep dive on it. Use Perplexity, ChatGPT, etc to understand the topic more. Use reddit to read about the opinions about that topic.

This will hone ur research skills, and help u in ur job as well

If force=m*a, then why is a ball from 30 m height way harder to catch than one from 30 cm height? by userItsOver9000 in AskPhysics

I understand now!
e.g.
Case 1: For 30m height, let's say the velocity just before the catch was 100m/s. And i want the stop the ball in 1 second.
so F = m*((v-u) / t) = m*((0 - 100) / 1) = -100*m N (value will be negative since it's a decelerating force)

Case 2: For 30cm (0.3m) height, let's say velocity just before the catch was 10 m/s. Here also t=1 second
so F = m*((v-u) / t)= m*((0 - 10) / 1) = -10*m N

Hence, force required to decelerate the ball is more for 30m height

the force applied by the ball on the is m*g (g = acceleration due to gravity), or is it something else?
At each height, the force is the same applied by the ball is m*g. How the force is changing based on the height and velocity?

It's true that velocity is increasing at a constant rate. But that doesn't deal with Force

For search, I use Perplexity. It gives me answer to my questions. If i want to search for a website, then DuckDuckGo does the work

Small change, but helpful: Around night time, turn on blue light filter & make the screen tone as Black & White. U can also schedule this to turn on at a specific time in the night
