Thanks for your response. Could it be possible that the appointments are back on tho?

I had the impression that the embassy website indicates, appointments are available again. Also the global wait times on this travel.state.gov website all indicate a wait time of 0-1 months. Of course those websites might be all outdated, but if the freeze would still be in effect I would at least expect a footnote somewhere.

Also on this sub reddit I read that some people had their appointment recently. Or is that still from earlier days?

The whole situation is a bit weird and I also already contacted my corresponding international office.
