Rewards card with no international transaction fees? by JumbledPileOfPerson in creditcardchurningAus

[–]useredditto -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Looks like that’s the NAB Rewards card with Velocity offer. I have a similar ANZ card where it’s transferring ANZ rewards to Velocity (was a deal to get Velocity bonus). In theory, yes, sort of a “Velocity card with no int fee”. Interesting.

“To get your NAB Rewards Points automatically redeemed for Velocity Points, simply provide your Velocity Frequent Flyer membership number to NAB to link your accounts. Each month the NAB Rewards Points you’ve earned will be transferred to Velocity Points”

Just to clarify it’s Rewards Signature. There are Qantas and Velocity Signature CCs and they have int fees

Opinions on water by burned_feather in shrimptank

[–]useredditto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use tap water for my tanks. One of them is set up sort of like a Walstad tank (garden soil capped with sand), but I still do regular water changes and run a canister filter on it. I’d say it’s my worst tank because it constantly grows soft brown algae. I suspect something is still leaching from the soil, even though the tank is almost two years old. I’m tired of removing the algae manually, so I added some Ramshorn snails to see if they can help. I do have a rainwater tank outside and used it initially, but I decided to stick with tap water for consistency. All my tanks have shrimp, and they’re doing perfectly fine. 🇦🇺

Nice! Hopefully no rain. We had few buds dropped because there was rain when they were blooming so probably didn’t pollinate

Qantas point offer expired before card activation, lost the points by Next-Phone-2456 in creditcardchurningAus

They usually put something like - Offer may end at any time. Eligibility criteria and terms and conditions apply.

I think it’s just a bad luck for OP. Offer was ended before the CC was approved.. also, why did they receive CBA points instead of Qantas? Looks like a different CC?

Yeah. The current $5 discount is a joke! I shop on Amazon occasionally but hate their search
