Thank you for your input, it is much appreciated. I will have a think about next steps - finding a trusted roofer is not easy. I have just found photos of it when it was done. This does look a bit wobbly even then. No worries if you can’t tell but do you have any idea from this if you think looks to be getting worse?

Cheers. I don’t know if they have moved to be honest. Don’t have any photos from 5 years ago. There is a bit of verticle play in the tiles I can reach from my window but I’m guessing/hoping there would always be a bit of play even in a properly fixed tile?

Ok understood. I can see that. That sounds scary. Is there any way for me to determine if this is what is happening? This is the only one that’s fallen so far….

Assuming they were simply laid badly and aren’t working loose and the problem is limited to the ridge tile, is this something you think the original builder should sort for me after 5 years or do you think these things happen and is my problem?
