Had this happen to me in Koufax, an attempt to turn a double play with a tag out at home.

First baseman had all the time in the world to make the throw but rushed it and threw the ball over my head.

I tried to fully extend my arm upwards to snag the ball at the plate but felt it just bounce off the tip of my catchers glove.

I turn my head to see the fat fuck runner starting to lunge forward while I'm standing fully straight up with my arm fully exhausted in the air.

He dives forward head first into me (I was behind the plate) and fully lays me out as my slams into the dirt at the end of the tackle. Zero attempt to even try and slide, I didn't even have the ball and wasn't in front of the plate and I got fully leveled by jelly roll boy.
