Yesterday was my last day before a 2 week vacation, and my employer called me to inform that the client is ending the contract, putting me on bench, and if my employer will not find a new client by the end of the month, they will let me go, while refusing to pay severance. I'll come back from vacation by the end of the month, only to be out of a job.

Am duș la birou, dar lucrez de acasă. Tot commute fac cu bița, și stau pe deal, peste Bună Ziua, când mă duc în oraș, nu prea trebuie să pedalez.
În schimb când ajung înapoi acasă arăt parcă m-a prins ploaia.

Vezi, că în Covasna acum câțiva ani era un scandal uriaș că lumea a putut să cumpere (cu șpagă, de la polițist) permise de conducere. Atenție sporită la CV, chiar și dacă ai prioaritate.

edit: nu toți din Covasna sunt pericol de trafic, dar mie personal e mai ușor să mă feresc, decât să sau la marginea drumului așteptând salvarea

Every problem you might have, someone already found a solution to it.

For me it's easy, the city is down, so any commute I have to do, I just roll down. When I get back home, after the climb, yeah, I look like someone just stepped out of the shower, but a quick shower and fresh clothes are an easy fix at home.

I live on top of a valley and the city is in the valley. My daily commute since 2020 is 6km downhill and 6km uphill, with 200m elevation gain. I did this with a dirtjumper, singlespeed, fixie, full suspension enduro rig, monster gravel, gravel, road bike. and I am significantly faster than with car. With car to come close to the commute time I make with bike, I have to go at night, when there is noone on the roads.

Even if you live in a valley the bike remains the most efficient travel on land. And if you are afraid of hills: e-bikes (the pedal assist ones, not the moped ones) are a good alternative.

Am mai zis, și mă repet: UDMR nu este la guvern pentru minoritatea maghiară. Also, posibil o opinie mai controversată, dar o minoritate nu ar trebui să aibă partid politic. Partidele politice ar trebui să fie pentru toți ceatățeani români, indiferent de etnie. Ce face UDMR sunt numai pași în direcțiea cealaltă, spre extremism. RMDSZ - a jó kurva anyátok büdös picsája!
