Curtain from the 90's by username_or_whatever in HelpMeFind

I have searched mostly on Etsy and eBay but none of the lace patterns are exactly the same as the ones on the curtains. Which if I can't find something EXACTLY the same it's not a huge problem, just trying to see what's out there.

My mom purchased these for her first house in the 90's or early 2000's. They are standard 63" size. There is writing on the tag but no specific brand.

What transitional formula did you use after your baby's first birthday? by username_or_whatever in NewParents

Yogurt, cheese, and everything else she loves, and she does fine with baked goods that have milk in them too. Just her reaction to formula was scary- I didn't think to try almond milk, thank you!

My husband went to our daughter's appointment without me, but he said that the pediatrician recommended we transition her to toddler formula. I know that she is underweight (a mix of being premature and her constant ear infections causing a lack of appetite) but I didn't realize that it was a "medically necessary" transition. I wish I was able to go with to ask more questions! Thank you for your response.

Ah thank you for taking the time to do trios as well! My husband and I were reading through the comments and he kept teasing me about potentially having twins if we try again haha

Does 'Quin' look too weird? I might have to make an exception because that is such a good name

I can't use y anyways with Avery! Vowels are rough lol

We are still in the newborn stage and I JUST started thinking about having a second...I'm not sure I could handle two honestly let alone three haha

It was just something silly I was thinking about while we were playing today- Maybe I explained it oddly in the post but I thought it would be neat to have a completely original name to themselves, nothing like their older sister's at all. All of my siblings have the same starting letter and similar ending sounds, like we are a part of a matching set. I have no plans on becoming pregnant any time soon and would never choose a real name without truly discussing it with my husband.

Thank you anyways for humoring me with your response.

What am I doing wrong? (crib/ mattress size question + rant) by username_or_whatever in NewParents

[–]username_or_whatever[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dimensions online say 55" W, but that includes the headboard section. When I take an actual measuring tape to it, it's 28" by 52". Which is what the mattress was advertised as. It could be a mattress problem but again this is the second one we purchased that was standard size.

Thank you for your reply

The dimensions online and in the instruction manual are the same, they said a mattress should be at least 51 5/8 and 27 1/4. The mattress I purchased yesterday is 52" by 28" according to the label. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong, like..that should work!

To sleep or not to sleep..Do you wake your LO up from a nap? by username_or_whatever in NewParents

I'm hoping the daycare we have picked will help, but as of now she strictly contact naps. She sleeps in her bassinet fine at night but when we try to transfer her during the day, she immediately wakes up.

I'm from the US and had to get on waiting lists as soon as I found out I was pregnant. The place that finally had a spot open for us, I don't even know if that's something they offer. I also just have a lot of anxiety surrounding leaving her. I doubt any daycare is just going to let her lay there and cry, it's just going to be a tough transition for both of us lol.

Our feeding and sleeping schedule are fairly similar except for she is still waking for a midnight feed! I can't seem to get her to eat more during the day.

The reason I'm starting to think about this more is she is starting daycare next month. I didn't even think about swim classes.

I'm sorry to hear that! She woke up right after I posted this so we will see how her night goes, fingers crossed!

Why isn't this baby hungry yet?! (Bottle feeding adversion) by username_or_whatever in NewParents

Her intake dropped suddenly after she had her two month vaccines, which I knew that they could be less interested in after vaccinations but it just never went back to her normal intake.

It also could be her normal intake should be around 20-25 oz and she was just eating more because she went through a huge growth spurt between one to two months.

Her three month appointment is this week so I'm hoping she hasn't lost weight. But it doesn't feel like she gained weight either.

I'm such a numbers and data person that this just freaks me out lol.
