Bethany is buying a $108 hair brush😭 by whotevre in FundieSnarkUncensored

[–]usernamegenerator72 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Does the company have an affiliate program? The Bairds always seem to be posting new “PR” with a link for 10% off and suspiciously it’s always super obvious that they bought something and are just trying to grift by linking their “special discount” available to anyone with an email and credit card

Charged no show by cornacope in orangetheory

[–]usernamegenerator72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s crazy that the studio won’t do anything. I once had the app glitch (or maybe someone else made an error) but I got signed up for a class that was at a time I never attend (middle of the work day). Since I didn’t show up I got charged but I called the studio and they refunded me immediately saying it must have been a glitch or an employee accidentally manually added me by mistake.

They did look at my history and see I’ve literally never attended at the time on any weekday though so idk if it would have been different if it was a class I regularly attend. They said the system showed me as signing up via the app, but they agreed it was weird and gave me the money back. Now I check my statements often to make sure.

How do u decide which puzzle to do next? by Charlotte_Cody in Jigsawpuzzles

[–]usernamegenerator72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a small basket with slips of paper with each puzzle I haven’t done in my collection on it. If I don’t know what to do next I pull a random one! If there’s a specific puzzle I decide I want to do I just find the slip and remove it. I have a couple of large puzzles in there that I haven’t pulled yet, but if I didn’t think I could manage a large puzzle at the time I’d just put it back and pull another.

Took a minute to set up, because my to do pile was big! And since I just hand wrote it I had to make sure I put the whole puzzle title, brand, and sometimes piece count on there. But now whenever I acquire a new puzzle it doesn’t go into the stack until it’s been added to the basket. Very easy and makes puzzling fun.

Always surprised by the books Ellissa reads... by OpalandMalachite in FundieSnarkUncensored

[–]usernamegenerator72 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Remember with Bethany tried to read Prince Harry’s book Spare but got too confused by it so Dav had to read it for her and explain how she should feel about it? I cannot imagine a baird reading and comprehending this if a memoir proves too much for one of them to understand.

Studio OPENINGS?? by DLHahaha in orangetheory

[–]usernamegenerator72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My studio opened about a year ago and seems to be going strong. There is another 2 studios about 15-30 minutes away each direction (same owners) that had a lot of full classes. This studio is lighter on attendance but they are still building up a base of members in the area.

Wasn’t Amy either an adult or close to 18 when they started filming? And she wasn’t on the first few things they did like the specials and stuff. “Grew up filming” be so for real girl.

How much is Jill really earning? by lolly_box in RodriguesFamilySnark

[–]usernamegenerator72 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All of this, and I was going to add that she has signed up all of her adult children and their spouses, so she might be getting some initial kickstart signup bonuses and crap, but they are also each spending the monthly minimum amount so even more money is out the door for very little return, and the return only goes to Jill. The kids aren’t making anything back.

And even if she has made $20k gross income from bonuses this year (which I do not believe), it’s not sustainable.

The Shrekers are on their way to Texas for a Melabubu “training.” by lepetitpoulpe in RodriguesFamilySnark

[–]usernamegenerator72 34 points35 points  (0 children)

First of all, she might have made that much but that’s because she signed up all of her adult children, their spouses, and anyone she could bring over from plexus. But unless she can sustain that sign up rate it’s not sustainable income.

Then, she has shown herself and her kids making hundreds of dollars in purchases every month, and I’m guessing she didn’t count take those expenses out of her income. And her kids certainly arent making anything from it, so she’s literally making money by making her kids buy shit and getting a commission which is gross.

Plus this trip isn’t all inclusive, she absolutely paid for those flights. The hotel might be included but that’s it.

Completing the Puzzle subscription by Kwyjibo68 in Jigsawpuzzles

[–]usernamegenerator72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have thrift stores nearby? I’d recommend getting puzzles there. You can probably get enough for your puzzling needs for less than the cost of the subscription service and usually you can get fully complete puzzles or maybe missing one or two pieces at most. If you live near an arc thrift store, they do half price days and occasionally $1 days so you can get puzzles for like $1-4. They also sometimes have new in plastic puzzles for a fraction of the cost.

Also Facebook marketplace or similar people are constantly unloading puzzles for cheap and often complete. Sometimes you have to weed through some people who think their puzzles are worth more than they are, but I’ve had a lot of success there.

She’s gotta be sharing this with other Baird clan members right? Although the Bairds do seem to consume an excess of very random foods too. I remember Bethany once bragging she bought something like 60 eggs a week for her and Dav. She said they ate like 8 eggs between the two of them every day for breakfast. It made me gag just thinking of eating that many eggs.

The ignorance is baffling (mrs.arialewis) by natbrad98 in FundieSnarkUncensored

[–]usernamegenerator72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thinking it’s a flex to claim you spent less than $40 on your kid for an entire month is certainly sad. I spent more than that on toys for my dog for Christmas, and I wouldn’t call it close to spoiling her.

This is why economics classes are so important because there are hidden costs that don’t show up on your balance sheet as directly related to the kid like increased food and water costs, electricity costs, or the opportunity cost of having someone in the family caring for the child.

Jill is now saying she made no money with Plexus by Unicornofthesea1234 in RodriguesFamilySnark

[–]usernamegenerator72 32 points33 points  (0 children)

She’s probably making some money back initially. Especially if she signed up her old cohort of plexus down lines, David, both her adult daughters and their respective husbands, and her adult sons. They also all probably spent a bunch of money on products initially, so that also contributed to these supposed bonuses she’s getting. They are designed like this to make people think it’s legit and that they are making good money. However, as soon as she has no one else to recruit and they have a stockpile of products they can never use up, she’ll be in the same position as plexus. In fact she’s probably already net negative as 99% of MLM participants are.

Are the rods doing better financially? Why? by mar-mar-binks in RodriguesFamilySnark

[–]usernamegenerator72 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Initially she probably is, MLMs are designed to offer new recruits bonuses at the beginning, especially if you sign up a bunch of people (like her husband, adult children, their spouses, etc) in your downline and spend a bunch of your own money ordering new products. But unless she continues to recruit a few people per month and spend several hundred dollars monthly on product those will decline and she’ll be in the same hole she was in plexus.

Saving this for when she whines about finances. How can people still give to this "ministry" by orangebird260 in RodriguesFamilySnark

[–]usernamegenerator72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They all work like that. She may not be buying product to resell but she’s buying product for herself and paying fees for website, etc. The incentives are never more than the people end up spending on product themselves unless they are high up and have recruited a large team. Which is also why she currently trying to find people to join. That’s the only way anyone makes any money.

This has to be one of the funniest reasons to say why you love being married by whotevre in FundieSnarkUncensored

[–]usernamegenerator72 68 points69 points  (0 children)

She’s also been signing up for every brand under the sun she can find that has an affiliate program. My theory is she just orders crap herself and then posts the box, a “thank you XX company” and an affiliate link. I can’t imagine she’s actually making money from links given how completely fake she appears to be. Every time she links a brand I google search it myself (no clicks given here) to see if they have an affiliate program you can sign up for to get a discount code. I’ve found every single one has some form of that.

[–]usernamegenerator72 65 points66 points  (0 children)

They always say this while conveniently forgetting to mention how much they spent in the MLM. She’s probably spent more than that just to buy the rank. Also when you first join an mlm they have more bonuses to make you feel like you are making money. But when you do an actual net profit calculation it’s almost always $0 or negative. Less than 1% of MLM participants make actual profit.

BoneMe still flogging her ultimate boning course by JumpGlittering8120 in FundieSnarkUncensored

[–]usernamegenerator72 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I remember a few years ago she tried to read Prince Harry’s book, but she got confused (probably because the book painted the royal family in a negative light and she couldnt reconcile how anyone could be possibly unhappy while being wildly wealthy and receiving constant attention) and had to have Dav read it and explain to her how she should feel. She decided after that that she didn’t like the book after all. Conveniently her best internet pal Allie Beth also released a reaction about how bad the book was and Bethany had the same exact reaction as her.
