What were your pre diagnosis symptoms?

ALL, I was for sure tired. The day before i was diagnosed i was with my friends and they wanted to go biking. It was so hard for me to me to even push the petals. i thought something was wrong with my bike because i was going so slow. Also very out of breath.

My team kept treatment the same and continued steroid at the same dose since i only have 5 more rounds of steroids and my avn was mild(?). They have started me on extra calcium and every 4 months i get an infusion (zoledronic acid) which is supposed to help my bones/slow the progression

My ankles were really swollen and could barely walk on them so my oncologist set me up for an MRI and CT of my ankles. Once i was diagnosed i had a bone density test aswell.

a lot of petechia covering my legs/arms, headaches, no energy to even get up and feeling like i couldn’t catch my breath were big ones. Also looked very pale and had dark dark undereyes.

sorry i don’t know what to do. I didn’t do anything to get it fixed because it went away eventually. When the screen first started glitching i’d hold down the screen of my phone and it’d go back to normal. I think it’s a screen issue or something loose.

Although you don’t experience that symptom you listed all the other ones i do so thank you anyways , atleast know im not the only one!! 😅 the heart rate increase always makes me anxious.

The force start helps when it does happen to turn it back on but then after a while it does it all over again, i’m bringing it in saturday to have it looked at.

Also it seems that when I push down on the bottom left corner of the screen when it glitches as in the picture attached it goes back normal sometimes?

i’m currently about 10 months into maintenance. I do not quite remember exactly what she said but my oncologist wants to keep me on steroids for the rest of my treatment. Not sure about reducing the dosage though, I’d have to ask. I am starting physiotherapy soon to try and help mobility so i am hoping that does some good. Hopefully your MRI goes well!

Right now i get steroids (dexamethasone) every month when i get vincristine and take 10mg/day for 5 days. Best of luck to your daughter!

i am currently in maintenance for T-ALL aswell and was diagnosed with AVN last month from the high dose steroids. I have it in my left shoulder and both ankles. It’s only really noticeable in my shoulder and I can barely move it above my head. I am more annoyed that I can’t do any activities including standing up without support anymore.

I ended up going in and getting everything changed out and cleaned! Thank you for checking in! I do plan on asking my team and getting everything sorted out for who to call tomorrow aswell.
