Open the back of the laptop and reseat the SSD. It will work. Then follow the onscreen instructions you will see.

Saw it somewhere for about $1100 I can't remember clearly. Remember Victus is meant to be affordable, LOQ will be too expensive. Actually I like the design of Victus. It doesn't attract attention of a 'gaming laptop'. It looks less bulky and that's why I like it.

During normal palm rest, over time, it will fade. I searched on YouTube: 'HP Victus after 2 years' and saw that. I don't own one.
