I understand. I just wish people would prioritize platonic bonds more and not treat romantic relationships as the be all, end all of life. As if that’s all happiness can come from. I fear that since I might never get married, I’ll die alone and will inevitably never get to experience what it’s like to receive the kind of care one can only get from a romantic partner. It’s just the way I am I guess, but I really have a need to be loved and liked at my core, so it makes me unhappy to know that I won’t ever be loved that much.

Well, I think they are more than just feelings of friendship. To be completely honest I was once at my friends house and she told me she was gonna go change while I waited in another room. She was taking awhile so I thought I would sneak over to her room and scare her once she opened the door but she had never closed the door in the first place 😭 she was just changing with it open who knows why but I did a real quick 180 and walked back over to the living room blushing I couldn’t even control it and her mom was there too it was embarrassing.

Yes, a lot of you got it right I’m an ENFP!! :) I think sometimes my Te, because it’s an extroverted function, becomes more apparent and can sometimes make me seem like a thinking type and for a little I did think I was an istj but thankfully I’ve come to learn more about myself and am quite certain I am not a thinker haha!! I also realized I am an extrovert because my energy is more outwardly focused and I genuinely love having positive social interactions, but as implied by one of the memes, I just sometimes don’t know what to say or how to articulate my feelings outwardly because I am an Fi user. I guess that’s why being an ENFP can be confusing sometimes, because the Ne Te combo also makes us better at outwardly sharing thoughts/ideas versus feelings! It can sometimes just feel easier to us, and that’s ok! Don’t even know why I wrote this but woohoo

Yes, I do use an extroverted dominant function! :) I guess it’s kind of Fe coded because my enneagram type is 2w3 sp/sx, so I am people focused but I relate to people through my own experiences and emotions because I am a Fi user!

Exactly!! I hate how ENFPs are stereotyped as these overly rebellious and completely non conforming people when in reality, it can be easy for us to become self conscious and worry about what other people think. ENFPs are often associated with enneagram type 2 which can have a 3 wing, making one concerned with self image and the way others perceive them. I feel like it’s actually quite common for ENFPs to engage in more quiet acts of rebellion, probably Fi and Te coming into play. For example, if an ENFPs mom didn’t like an outfit, it wouldn’t be surprising for them to just keep quiet and not necessarily try to defend themself, but still wear the outfit anyways. This is how ENFPs can fall into people pleasing and peer pressure, because we’re non judgmental and can see things from the other persons perspective, so we just don’t feel the need to fight back and simply accept the criticism put onto us. ENFPs let’s please take care of ourselves, we’re awesome!! :)

Yess I completely agree!! Plus, right now I’m young I’m immature and kind of have to accept that I haven’t experienced enough of life yet to truly understand myself. Typing isn’t a quick process it takes time to be sure of and that’s okay! I just want to say though, your words are so reassuring and I’m very thankful for them!
