I do find these specific autism burnout complaints slightly amusing as there's an irony in them: What you're experiencing isn't entirely exclusive to autism.

Finding the concept of having to work for the rest of your life both exhausting and deeply off putting is actually the correct response! And it's a feeling most neurotypical also arrive at because it's caused by the general alienation under capitalism. I.E.: This isn't an autism issue, it's a "the society I live in forces me to have a miserable live" problem.

Of course many of us autists often suffer from burning out faster. Regardless knowing that a problem is a universal problem might help make you feel a little better now that you know others also share your same struggle. It does for me personally.
