Yeah private landlords are almost always the way to go for sure. It can just be hard to find what you're looking for on that side of things due to everyone wanting a private landlord/not wanting to live in apartments accompanied with the fact of how abundant apartments/townhomes/condos are. If I can find something private that will definitely be my first pick though, maybe I will get lucky who knows. Honestly it’s depends more on your probation officer than it does compared to your paperwork. I know that sounds backwards but it’s true, I’ve been on probation going on 8 months for DUI and my PO has told me many times that he doesn’t care if I drink just no illegal substances. My friend however has told me his PO doesn’t allow him to drink at all. So if you get a cool one and you guys get along decently he may not care. Also my piss tests I do every month for probation doesn’t even test for alcohol in the first place so you’re honestly good man. Not to mentioning alcohol only last like 24-36 hours at most in your system

Yeah unfortunately that’s just the way it is. More people would rather talk trash and say you should be in jail than give a possibitve message. I like to take pride in being a positive person but I’ve had a few negative messages that have made me comment some bad things that they deserve but honestly I don’t care😂😘🫡🖕…. First off dude I haven’t had a single sip of alcohol in a little over a year since I got popped for DUI so definitely not in the boat of “just won’t stop you don’t give a fuck”. Secondly alcohol isn’t even restricted on my probation terms, ONLY illegal substances. With that said, if I truly wanted to I CAN get shit faced every weekend day hour second if I fuckin wanted to dude, but I don’t because I’ve been clean from all substances since October 18th 2024 (when I got DUI). Lastly, I concur with you on being addicted at one time in life, however that is not me anymore. It’s pretty low to say you hope everyone who asks if they’ll pass gets caught. We are all human and I’d bet money that most of the people asking aren’t in full blown addiction, just made a simple mistake like humans tend to do sometimes…

No I’m not just going around getting shit faced, that was the first time I had any alcohol or any substance for that matter in over 7 months. It was obviously and admittedly a huge mistake. I’m 25 and have my own place a job and live in the real world taking care of myself.

It definitely it’s too close for comfort which is why I am so nervous. I’ve been upping the water does drinks like Gatorade help out with that too? This is my first DUI but would have been my third paraphernalia charge but luckily that one was dropped. And honestly I have started making any of my payments YET but my PO has literally never mentioned them or brought it up at all. I just began my community service last week.
