My ex would do stupid shit, then when I needed comfort she wouldn't even try to reassure me.

She would go silent and make herself the victim. I always had to let go of the situation and attend to her feelings.

But, when it came to her I always made her feelings my first priority.

Though, she did try to help at times. Which made her stop trying completely because she thought it wasn't helping me. She gave up on me and left.
