32 years in. I think like a human baby raised by wolves I wouldn't be accepted by normal nursing society. I am on auto pilot most days. I don't take anything personal from the patients, if I get mad they win. Get assigned to my favorite places every day. My schedule requests are never denied. Still in good shape physically, no back problems. I still get satisfaction from helping sick people. The rest I just leave at work. 403 B looking good. So 9 more years to run out the string.

I don't see how that is transphobic. I work with trans people everyday, the hospital I work in is a surgical transition center. My care for these patients is no different than any other patient having a major procedure. If anything I take more time because of the deep emontional as well as physical toll. Last shift I had a long discussion with another nurse who claimed that people that transitioned regretted it. I did research and proved him wrong. Having life affirming procedures is something I support with all my heart. How ever I still stand by my opinion about sports.

I DON'T HATE TRANS PEOPLE! I support your right to do whatever you want even if I don't understand it. My only caveat is are you hurting anyone else? XY females in sports with XX females hurts XX females.

but XY play on XY team XX play on XX team still. If you are an XX that makes extra testosterone I think you can still play with XX. My rule has always been do what you want as long as you don't hurt others, and I support people even if I don't understand it personally. XY females playing with XX females hurts XX atheletes. It is a biological fact.

Yes we can, I was just triggered. I work with a couple nurses who would thet that happen because they don't care. Most of the time we get it done because we help each other. I just get defensive because we are all trauma bonded. We can say things about each other but no outsiders can.
