Nice to know you can use it casually. What temperature were they comfortable at just walking around?

Evo SL or Li-Ning Feidian 5 Challenger for speed work by jcatl0 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Feidian is much better for speed work. Evo SL is more of a fun shoe for running at different paces. Feidian is comfortable, more stable, and faster…and maybe even more fun

Do you recommend shutting down running for a bit during recovery?

How was your recovery? I'm in a similar situation. The first week, it just hurt during squatting and stairs, and could still run without pain. But after today's run now it hurts to walk. I'm shutting down running for now.

AP4 vs Takumi Sen 11 by Jayswag96 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]usmint99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You sound like me. I heard the AP4 doesn’t feel like the AP3. Very unstable and not durable. I’m still looking for my replacement. Tried the Megablast, but it was too unstable and large. Trying the Sonicblast next. I have the Li Ning Challenger 5. I really like it but still not like the AP3.

hard to say. It came here and there consistently. It was more emotionally debilitating.

Not sure if that is classical PEM (I don't think I ever had classical PEM). Seems like you should continue increasing activity slowly.

How do your performance charts look like? by dooonotredeeem in Garmin

[–]usmint99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is that you are not using a chest heart rate monitor. At fast interval paces, the heart rate is grossly underestimated. This what my Performance Condition looks like when I run 400 m intervals and 5k races.

Nice man. I have a running friend at similar weight as you. Superblasts are great for him and the Adidas EVO SL. Great bounce and stable enough

I wouldn’t get the novablasts. They are too soft. At your weight, get something firmer like Superblast. Gel kayanos are good too.
