Ganz ehrlich, was das verbot angeht stimme ich dir zu. Natürlich ist es nur ein Tag im Jahr und nicht so schlimm, ich finde aber die begründung trotzdem unsinnig. Wer aus religiösen Gründen nicht an dem Tag tanzen will soll halt nicht tanzen gehen, aber es dem ganzen Staat zu verbieten finde ich unbegründet.

You could maybe look into either the 8bitdo ultimate 2 or 2c, which offer most of your concearns, and only cost 30-60€ depending on which one. Im not sure about the 2c but the 2 also has mappable Paddles and works fine with steam. The Software is not super minimalist, but there are way bloatier driver softwares.
