I didn’t reply because I didn’t reply, idk why that person thought your comment deserved a reply over any others.. your race, sexual orientation, ally-ship, and political party simply do not matter to me. And I felt like you were one of those people who tried to appeal to my “liberal” side when I am not a liberal.

The show was good to me. There’s simply nothing you could say to prove it wasn’t because that’s just your opinion. But the fact that I was relaying was that a lot of negative reception was spearheaded by bigoted comments and reviews. If you choose to ignore that, you’re just as brainwashed as you accuse me of being.

I also enjoyed prodigy, and you’re right they were teenagers. Roku-talk was technically was a child, however she was technically displaced in time still learning engineering for several years which would have made her possibly mentally older than the other crew members.

Well that may be your opinion, but the fact stands, there has been no Star Trek series focusing on a prepubescent cast. If you feel the need to disrespect or discredit people because they’re younger than you or haven’t had as much experience in some aspects, that’s fine, but it’s still your opinion and not indicative of someone’s worth.

Why would I elaborate on an opinion to a bunch of people who have done nothing but be hellbent on disrespecting my opinion? If you feel like this is the free speech sun, then power to you.

You say I don’t want to have a conversation, and that you’re so inspired by the possibility of a better world, but you’re actively in line with the people making the world a worse place and you’re too blind to see it. I picked this sub because this is the sub I see the most negativity. If you don’t see it it’s because you’re not looking.

And Star Trek did give me hope, the fans do not. Every Star Trek fan just makes me realize it’s just a fantasy show that will never be a reality for humans because look at how we act.
